always open ("we," "us") builds websites and business systems for small-town businesses at alwaysopenstudio.app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Sample requests: your business name, type of business, town, your name, phone number, email (optional), a link to your website or social page, and the challenges you check.
- Public business information: to build your free sample, we use your business's public menu, photos, hours, and details from the link you give us.
- Basic technical data: our hosting and security providers process your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and block spam. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To build your free sample site and text you the link.
- To follow up about your request if you want to keep going.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the site:
- Lovable: website hosting and email delivery.
- Supabase: secure storage of sample requests.
- Cloudflare: bot protection on our forms.
- Our text messaging provider: to send your sample link.
Text messages
We text your sample link to the number you give us. That is the only text we send unless you ask for more. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. See our Terms for details.
How long we keep it
We keep sample requests as long as needed to build your sample and follow up. If you don't become a client, we delete your request within 12 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Security
Sample requests are stored in a private database that the public cannot access. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information like passwords or card numbers through our forms.
Children
Our site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. Email flow@alwaysopenstudio.app and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
